Featuring the BEST SKIN CARE & CREAM MAKEUP for your Maturing Skin!
I love wigs and despite having a more dense head of hair now, I will always wear wigs and for so many reasons. First, I suffer from chronic fatigue and I nap for about 2 hours every day. If I was to fuss with my bio hair it would be a wasted effort only to sleep on it hours later. While I generally don't wear wigs around the house normally, I can put my wig on to go to an appointment and along with my skincare and makeup I can feel put together, confident and more energetic.
When I come home and it's time for my nap I remove my wig, change into my house clothing and lay down. When I awaken I get changed, my makeup still looks great as it stays put all day, put my wig on and I feel refreshed and look my best once again. Which is also important even when you don't go out as it is just as important for those who share in out daily lives to see us at our best as it is a stranger in the grocery store or bumping into an old friend, there is now an option.
As a major factor in developing self-confidence, style, and aesthetics, wigs can achieve incredible transformations. They offer a sense of freedom to those that wear them, allowing for self-expression and creative exploration of different looks and styles.
Many women wear wigs to avoid damage to their natural tresses, or to create styles that may not be possible otherwise. They are also worn by individuals who are experiencing hair loss due to medical reasons (most commonly cancer patients who are undergoing chemotherapy, or those who are suffering from alopecia areata).
On my journey my thinning hair had me wearing my hair pulled back and under a baseball hat every time I left the house for any reason. Growing concerned that there may come a time when wearing a hat was not appropriate so I became curious about wigs as an option and turned to the internet to learn more.
Well I was surprised at how far wigs have come since shopping with my mother for a wig before she underwent chemotherapy. There are human hair wigs which are the most expensive $$$, synthetic wigs $$ which are the least expensive and then there are wigs made with heat resistant synthetic fibers $$ which have had the most affect on the popularity of wigs.
Wigs with HR(heat resistant) fibers that feel just like human hair, but there is much more to consider than the fibers alone, wig caps have and continue to evolve as well. Let me just say that this is where the price varies most in this category.
If you are curious and would like to learn more about wigs and wig wearing, there are a number of influencers(people who get paid to demonstrate products), who do an amazing job at educating women about all the details that go into wig manufacturing, the various features of each wig cap, wig colour and wig style. It is the fiber type, length and style of the hair and the cap features that create the biggest price variance from $300 - $900.
While I won't disclose how many wigs I have purchased along my journey or just how involved I have become in the wig industry, but suffice it to say that I consider myself as an expert.
Should you wish to begin your own wig journey, just send me a message and based on where you are headed, I can direct you to the most beneficial place to begin.
